Well, the Iruvar magic is all set to happen again on screen. The Anandan-Tamizhselvan of Iruvar, Mohanlal and Prakash Raj is all set to do a film together in Malayalam under Ace director Ranjith titled 'SPIRIT'. The film will have Kanika in the female lead. The last time Prakash Raj did a malayalam film was years back in 'Pandippada'. The shooting is all set to start in march as of now.

Actor Karthi is all set to enact the title role of Alex Pandian in his forthcoming film of the same title. Tamil Cinema viewers wont forget this name as Superstar Rajinikanth played the role in Moondrumugham back in the 80's. The film directed by Suraj will have Karthi and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles. Studio Green produces the film.

Will Karthi live upto the Superstar's role ?, we will have to wait and see that.

There are strong rumors that the Anjaneyan, the businessman with whom Ananya was engaged on February 3rd is a fraud. Anjaneyan already has a wife and children and is yet to get divorce from her. Ananya nor her parents knew about this and fell for Anjaneyan's trap. Ananya's parents have filed a police case against Anjaneyan for cheating her. It is also said that Ananya is kept at home forcefully by her parents. What ever it be, let us pray that she gets out of these tough times and start acting soon. :)

We recently came to know that actor Mohanlal's mother Santhakumari is admitted to Amrita Hospital in Cochin after she fell ill and is reportedly in a serious condition. The actor has cancelled all his commitments and has flown in to be with his mother. Mohanlal's father died a few years ago from illness.

We all know the love Lalettan has for his mother, and we from the bottom of our heart pray for her speedy recovery. Let us pray that she gets well soon.

Vineeth Sreenivasan has finally announced his next directorial venture after 'Malarvadi arts club' as 'Thattathin Marayath'. The film is produced by Lumiere films and will have music by Shaan Rahman. Jomon T John handles the Cinematography. Nivin Pauly, the actor who played the lead in Malarvadi is roped into doing the lead role here as well. The actress is unknown as of now.

The film comes with a tagline ' Ummachi kuttiye premicha nayarude kadha ', Which is pretty interesting.

Marudhanayagam with Kamal-Rajinikanth again

The latest buzz from Tamil cinema is that Kamal Haasan is all set to revive his magnum opus project which was announced back in 1997 titled 'Marudhanayagam', Even a trailer came out. The project was soon shelved though. The film is said to be in the pipeline now, Kamal said as he spoke in an interview to a Mumbai based daily newspaper. Now when asked if Rajinikanth would have a role in Marudhanayagam, Kamal said yes and showed his interest in casting Rajini after a gap of decades. They have done about 10 films together earlier.

Yes there is a role that is ideal for him. We've done 10 films together in the beginning of our career, but none recently. No one has come up with a project worthy of us. It's up to me to bell the cat.

Well this is one combination, you never hoped to see again on-screen, If this happens we are sure it would make a part into history. We wish Kamal Haasan all the very best.

Dhanush Simbu twitter rivalry - the full story

Simbu and Dhanush shared quite a laugh the last time they met.

It all happened when Dhanush's recently composed 'Sachin Anthem' was taken down from Youtube following a copyright claim by an unknown person. The video was taken down for 3 hours from the popular video streaming website following the claim. It is being rumored that on investigation it was found that the copyright infringement was made by a friend of Simbu's close associate. Their rivalry is well known in Kollywood and surfaces 'once in a blue moon'.
