The latest we hear from Malayalam Cinema circles is that Kamal Haasan's thriller yesteryear film 'Kaaki Chattai' is being remade into Malayalam with Narain as the lead.Vandana is expected to play the female lead of the film.Shaji Kailas will be directing this film after he completes 'The King and the Commissioner'.The original film had Kamal Haasan playing a police officer and had Ambika playing the female lead.The shooting is said to start by January 2012.The original film also had Sathyaraj and the music was by Illayaraja and was a big factor to it's success.
