Prithviraj was considered as the first option for Roshan Andrews film 'Mumbai Police' which was scheduled to start after the completion of Roshan-Mohanlal starrer 'Cassanova' which got delayed because Mohanlal had given dates for his friend Priyadarshan to film his hindi flick 'Tez' and also the Malayalam movie 'Arabiyum Ottakavum P Madhavan Nairum'.This delay made Prithviraj's date clash with revised schedule of the film.The lead role has now being reportedly offered to Mammootty after Prithvi backed out.Prithviraj meanwhile is at Mumbai shooting for 'Ayya' with Rani Mukherjee as his female lead.

Cassanova is all set for a January release as of now.Prithviraj is meanwhile fresh from two back to back hits 'Manikyakallu' and 'India Rupee' for which he received a lot of praise.Anyway we wish Roshan Andrews and the rest of the crew the very best for 'Mumbai Police'.Meanwhile we are eagerly awaiting for 'Casanova'.
