Chiyaan Vikram has recently signed a Magnum opus film titled 'Karikalan', Which happens to be a period drama with Vikram in the lead role.The film is produced by Silverline Film factory and L.I Kannan will direct this film.Katrina Kaif was approached initially for the female lead of the film but was later taken up by Zarine Khan, Who earlier did another period drama along with Salman Khan.The film will have music by Vijay Antony and Karthik will be the cinematographer for this film.The film is said to have a lot of Computer Graphics.
