India today took revenge for the defeat they had from Bangladesh at the 2007 World cup with an 87 run victory over the hosts at Mirpur.India took on to a great start with Virender Sehwag and Virat Kohli in top form.Virender Sehwag went on to score 175 before getting an inside edge on to the stumps.Mean while Virat Kohli put up an amazing display of cricketing shots for his well played 100.Gautham Gambhir scored 39 while Sachin Tendulkar got run out at 29.
Munaf Patel maximum damage to Bangladesh as he took 4 Bangladesh wickets for 48.Zaheer khan also was in good form at an economy of 4.00 he took two important wickets.Sreesanth looked in poor form and was only allowed to ball five overs, He was hit for 53 in his 5 overs. Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Haasan scored half-centuries for their team who put up a decent fight till the end managing to score 293.
Virat Kohli is a player to look forward in the future.He plays like so beautifully at such a young age, No wonder he made it to the team instead of Suresh Raina.Virat Kohli to me is the future of Indian Cricket for sure.Anyways the game was great and was a treat to watch.We hope Viru recovers soon and both Viru and Virat Kohli carries their form on the next games.India's next game is on 27th February at Bangalore against England.We wish Dhoni and team all the best for the next game.
