Finally the wait is over,All 'Dhoom' fans can relax,an official announcement is here now.Aamir Khan has been confirmed to be playing the baddie in Dhoom 3.The film will have Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra again in their old avatar's.Dhoom 3 will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya,the writer of 'Dhoom' series and director of Tashan.The film will start shooting by this year and will be a 2012 christmas release.

It is indeed a pleasure to be working with Yashji and Adi once again. Dhoom is a great franchise, most entertaining and full of fun. Every time I hear the theme tune of Dhoom it brings a swing to my step. Victor's script really won me over and I look forward to working with him.
