Yesterday morning i was on youtube listening to some songs,I ended up at this song above composed by the music maestro Ilayaraja sir and the singer is Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna.An amazing composition no doubt,Don't know which film it is from,but a mindblowing song,as soon as i started hearing i knew i heard something similar before,after a few seconds i realized the tune was similar to 'Kangal Irandal' from Subramaniapuram directed by Sasikumar,The song is composed by James Vasanthan.It amused me a lot,Both the songs are awesome,but i would prefer the Ilayaraja version anyday.I hope James Vasanthan was just inspired and is not a copy cat.Anyway friends try listening to Ilayaraja songs on youtube,they are mindblowing.

Priyadarshan to direct Mohanlal again

Great news,It is almost confirmed about ace director Priyadarshan's comeback to Malayalam cinema.He wants to make his comeback to be grand and is reportedly doing a film with his friend and Superstar Mohanlal.The duo had earlier given us classics like Chitram,Vandanam,Thalavattam etc.The last film both got together was back in 2003 for Kilichundan Mambazham and the last film Priyadarshan did in Malayalam was 'Vettam' with dileep but wasn't a big hit at the box office.Hope they turn the tables this time.

Mohanlal is also doing a cameo in Priyadarshan's hindi movie titled 'Tez' with Ajay Devgun.

The latest news about Ajith starring Venkat Prabhu directed Mangatha is that Sneha is doing this film.The film had earlier been planned with Nagarjuna and Ajith Kumar,but now it seems that Nagarjuna has declined this role and now this role has been offered to Action king Arjun.Sneha will be seen playing the love interest of Arjun in this film.

The film is Ajith's 50th and Venkat Prabhu's 4th film.Venkat Prabhu who has three hits to his credit is really confident about the film.The music of the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.The Entire unit of the film is right now at Bangkok to shoot the title of song of 'Mangatha' or 'Vilayadu Mangatha'.

Surya's RakthaCharitra-2 to be released on December 3rd

The release of Surya's trilingual 'RakthaCharitra 2' is postponed from November 26th to December 3rd.The film directed by Ram Gopal Varma is to be released in three languages Hindi,Telugu and Tamil.The film is a sequel to RakthaCharitra-1 which released back in October.RakthaCharitra 1 hadn't been released in tamil and so Gautham Menon will be giving a narration of events in the tamil version before the film starts.The film is a story of revenge.The film also stars Vivek Oberoi in the lead role.

Prakash Raj in Hindi remake of 'Singam'

Prakash Raj is on a roll,He has a lot of films right now in almost five languages,Tamil,Malayalam,Telugu,Kannada,and Hindi.The latest buzz about this actor is that he will be playing the villain role in the hindi version of 'Singam'.The tamil version had him playing the bad guy.After the success of wanted ,i.e the remake of Pokkiri,the actor was well recieved by the hindi crowd.This film is directed by Rohit Shetty and Surya's role will be essayed by Ajay Devgun in Hindi.The actress also has not been finalized yet.

'Billa 2' is confirmed

Vishnuvardhan is making a prequel to 2007 superhit "Billa' starring Ajith Kumar.Billa 2 will be produced by Suresh Balaje, son of the legendary producer and actor K Balaje who produced the original Billa with Rajinikanth.The cinematographer is Nirav Shah,Editor will be Sreekar Prasad.The music director of the film is Yuvan Shankar Raja as in Billa also.The shooting will start after March 2011.

Ajith will start shooting after 'Mankatha' directed by Venkat Prabhu will be over.
