Resul Pookutty first Indian to win an Oscar

Resul Pokutty a native of Kollam in Kerala has bagged the achivement of being the first Indian ever to win an Osacar.He was all excited after the win that he spoke out these words

“This is a Shiv Ratri gift. It is absolutely incredible,This a historic moment for Indian cinema. When it was announced I could not believe it. This is a Shivratri gift for all Malayalis,”

Pookutty has also won a BAFTA and a Cinema Audio Society (CAS) award for best sound mixing in ‘Slumdog’. He is the first Indian to win the CAS award.

Being a Malayali myself i thank him for making our country and our native state proud.

Resul has also worked in Bollywood blockbusters like Ghajini,Bluff Master etc.

Congrats AR Rahman for winning two Oscars..!

AR Rahman has once again made us proud by winning two Oscars for his motherland.He won two oscars for Best Original song for “Jai Ho” and best background score.
